club is back for 2018, we'll be getting
together once a month after school to go
wild. Each session we'll be heading
outside to learn about something
new, every month will have
a different theme. There will
be lots of outdoor games and
activities and this is the perfect
thing to keep your children
active and loving nature. The
sessions are aimed at children aged
4+, but younger siblings are welcome;
adults must accompany their children
unless they are 8+. Price: £3.50. Booking

Some of the worlds largest and
most camouflaged caterpillars
are on show with cocoons, giant
silk moths and shining pupae
hanging on the plants. Lots to see, but
look hard or you'll miss them! In Minibeast
Metropolis you will find some of the largest
spiders living alongside beetles, stick
insects and reptiles. Look up and you will
discover leafcutter ants on overhead ropes,
working hard collecting leaves to bring

this in mind, we hold activities outdoors,
in the natural surroundings of our reserve
at The Parkridge Centre. The session starts
with fifteen minutes of free play, then
head outside to get stuck in with some
wonderful activities based on that week's
theme, before returning to the centre
to make an amazing craft to take home.
There is a tearoom on site where you can
purchase refreshments after the Nature Tots
session. Please be aware we head out in
all weathers, so please dress appropriately.

The Mighty Thor

launch system and sounding rocket used for
a series of re-entry vehicle tests and satellite
launches between 1958 and 1960. This May
Half Term Holiday we will be looking at the
history of the Thor Able rocket, the work it
carried out and some of its passengers. Find
