On Tuesday 15 May, the Queen announced the appointment of the<br />

Very Rev Viv Faull, currently Dean of York, as the 57 th Bishop of Bristol.<br />

Viv will be consecrated in St Paul’s Cathedral on 3 July 2018<br />

and enthroned in the early autumn at a date yet to be announced.<br />

We look forward to working with her and welcoming her to Redcliffe soon.<br />

MAURICE SCHOFIELD, who celebrated his 88 th birthday on Friday, has been a<br />

member of the Church for 30 years as well as a dedicated Steward! He would<br />

VOLUNTEER WEEK 2018: 1-7 JUNE Bristol Ferry Boats are celebrating the work of<br />

volunteers. They are offering a reduced price of £3 for an all-day ticket for<br />

CHRISTIANS IN SCIENCE are hosting a series of lectures “Our Fragile Planet”. The<br />

next is “Caring for the Oceans 1”, looking at changing ocean dynamics including<br />
