Crows Nest Gallery exhibition The Crows Nest Regional Art Gallery warmly invites you to the opening event for the upcoming exhibition by the Kontraband Studio Artists, As Above. As Above features the work of six artists who are heavily involved with the creative agency and co-working studio Kontraband Studios in Toowoomba. The individual practices of these artists include painting, photography, video, ceramics, design, murals and installation. Despite diverse practices, techniques and professional experience, the artists featured in As Above are not just united by close, physical proximity and constant critical discussion with each other, but also by their ongoing commitment to investigate ideas of place and memory within each of their artistic practices.
