Boys Volleyball
May 14 - Glenbrook North 2, Maine West

The Spartans got good prep for the
playoffs in a 25-19, 26-24 win over a conference
foe.
May 16 - GBN 2, Brother Rice 0
North survived a close first set to sweep
the Crusaders in the regular-season finale.
Baseball
May 12 - GBN 6, Maine South 1
North improved to 12-2 in CSL play
following the win against the Hawks.
May 15 - GBN 10, Highland Park 4
The Spartans survived allowing three
runs in an inning to take the first game
against Highland Park.
May 16 - GBN 6, Highland Park 1
GBN took the lead in the sixth and never
gave it back.
May 17 - Loyola Academy 9, GBN 1
The Spartans could not keep with the
weather and the Ramblers to end the regular
season.
Softball
May 12 - Huntley 12, GBN 2
The Spartans took a tough blow against
Huntley, falling early.
May 16 - Niles West 3, GBN 2
North couldn’t keep up with the Wolves
in a close loss on senior night.

baseball team
When and why did
you start playing
baseball?
My parents signed me
up for baseball when I was
5 or so and I’ve been playing
ever since.
What do you like most
about the sport?
I like the nuances and
there are so many different
things on every pitch the
average viewer doesn’t see
but I still appreciate.
What is your favorite
sports moment?
I’d probably say winning
conference this year
because of all of the work
we put in over the offseason,
seeing that pay off
was nice.
What is one thing
people don’t know
about you?
I listen to a lot of music
and like discovering a lot
of different stuff.
If you could be any
superhero, what
superpower would you
want?
I would want to fly. I
would visit Seattle.
What would you do if
you won the lottery?
I’d buy a garage full of
cool cars.
If you could play
another other sport,
what sport would it
be?
I would play basketball.
I used to play and still like
to play.
What is your favorite
area restaurant?
I would say with Jersey
Mike’s. I usually check the
turkey and cheese sub.
What is one thing on
your bucket list?
I would visit every Major
League ballpark. I’ve
visited 10 to 12.
If you could be any
animal, which animal
would you be?
I would be a cheetah because
they run fast.
