Appendix F: Enhancing the marketplace – Description of sourcing projects<br />

underway for launch in 2014<br />

As of December 31, <strong>2013</strong>, <strong>OECM</strong>’s Sourcing and Relationship Management team had the<br />

following 19 sourcing projects underway for launch in 2014:<br />

Finance, Human Resources and Marketing<br />

AODA Related Services<br />

Audit, compliance advisory and training services to help organizations identify and remove barriers for<br />

people with disabilities.<br />

Banking Services (Colleges)<br />

Day-to-day banking services, including cash management, short-term investments, short-term borrowing,<br />

online banking, fraud prevention, implementation, training and customer support.<br />

Collection Agency Services<br />

Debt collection services for the collection of unpaid fees such as student tuition fees, student residence<br />

fees, library fines, daycare fees and medical fees.<br />

Health Coverage for International Students<br />

To provide international students with health coverage while attending educational institutions in Ontario.<br />

Office Supplies – Retender<br />

Provide a broad range of office products to meet customers’ daily office and classroom requirements.<br />

Payment Recovery Services<br />

Uncover payment opportunities and savings around payment processes in seven categories - commodity<br />

tax payment and planning; purchasing and accounts payable; property taxes; payroll-related;<br />

telecommunications; worker’s compensation; and utility payment recovery services.<br />

Information Technology<br />

Crestron Products and Services<br />

Available to customers who have standardized on Crestron products and services – to provide control<br />

and automation solutions to centrally monitor, manage and control audio/visual resources from one<br />

platform to minimize downtime, work more efficiently and reduce technical support issues.<br />

Cloud Technology<br />

Cloud Technology related products and/or services relevant to meet <strong>OECM</strong> customers’ needs.<br />

Electronic Records and Content Management Software<br />

Software to help manage corporate information by simplifying storage, security, version control, process<br />

routing, and retention that will increase efficiency and reduced cost.<br />

IT Professional Services<br />

Services to help organizations have an easy access to qualified IT professionals and their services.<br />

IT Switches and Routers<br />

Network switches and routers to enable various types of devices to connect to internet.<br />

SMARTnet Cisco Support and Services<br />

Services to support Cisco’s switches, routers and security products.<br />
