VARIOUS PROFESSORIAL TITLES IN MALAYSIA<br />
The title of professor is generally held by career<br />
professors and those with honorary titles. Career professors<br />
include the Royal Professor, Distinguished Professor,<br />
Professor, Clinical Professor, Laureate Professor, Chair<br />
Professor, University Professor, Practice Professor and<br />
Visiting Professor.<br />
Honorary titles include the Adjunct Professor,<br />
Emeritus Professor and Honorary Professor. The Associate<br />
Professor and Assistant Professor are positions in higher<br />
educational institutions which are outside the range of the post<br />
of professors and those holding honorary titles.<br />
1. Royal Professor<br />
The highest title awarded to a professor by His<br />
Majesty the Yang di-Pertuan Agong. It is used<br />
specifically in Malaysia.<br />
The Royal Professor title can be placed in front of the<br />
recipient's name in the business card. An example of this<br />
