It is believed that the appearance of the subjects on<br />

Picasso’s paintings (which can be seen simultaneously<br />

from many directions) was affected by the ideas about<br />

the fourth dimension.<br />

In cubism, the objects are deconstructed in visual debris<br />

and they are afterwards rearranged in a way that the<br />

viewer doesn’t need to move in space or time in order<br />

to see them. All parts from all visual corners – in the<br />

front-ground, in the background, above, below, on the<br />

right, on the left – come to the viewer’s eye<br />

simultaneously.
