Hello & welcome back
Looking forward across the next few
months, we have a lot going on in the
Village, with the Dog Show and numerous
events at the Pavilion, organised by the
HCA . If you wondered what this
charity does—please do read the article
on page 6
In this magazine, we also have some new
articles from local experts. Pet care -
Want to know where there is a dog friendly
beach? On wildlife, Keith Metcalf, MCV
Conservation Officer, reports on some of
our well hidden treasures. We have a really
interesting wine article highlighting some
new discoveries . Also Chris and Jayne from
Sylvan Apiaries provide a fascinating insight
on their world amongst bees.
The fabulous cover page is thanks to
Graham Bell—please see page 15 for
more detail on his work.
Lastly, but very importantly, I want to say
a very big thank you to everyone who
helped distribute the last edition and this
one. Hordle is not the easiest to navigate,
and it is quite a feat reaching all houses
in the area.
Best Wishes, Jacqui
