BRICKLIVE is the UK’s largest Lego<br />

festival featuring some of the most<br />

impressive brick builds ever seen.<br />

Returning to Glasgow SEC this year on<br />

July 19-22, visitors can enjoy the Minecraft and Star Wars zones, wonder at<br />

the DUPLO fairy bricks mosaic, get stuck into the brick pits and enjoy the race<br />

ramps and gaming area.<br />

New <strong>for</strong> 2018 is a LEGO® built safari with over 80 animals made from nearly<br />

1 million bricks! A hand-on fast-paced LEGO® robot battle called Warrior<br />

Bots will also take centre stage at the exhibition. Fans can feast their eyes on<br />

some amazing creations from master LEGO® builders, then enjoy some retail<br />

therapy and pick up the latest sets or find classic collector’s items to play with<br />

It’s All Happening at Glasgow Museums this Summer!<br />

To keep everyone entertained and inspired over the holidays or at weekends,<br />

Glasgow Museums has a fantastic programme of FREE activities and events,<br />

including art clubs, craft sessions, interactive workshops, storytelling, film shows<br />

and lots more.<br />

Our museums also offer a great experience <strong>for</strong> kids of all ages through our collections and displays. At<br />

Kelvingrove, we have dinosaurs, an Egyptian mummy and Sir Roger the Elephant and friends in our Life Gallery.<br />

The mini-museum <strong>for</strong> the youngest ones also provides lots of do with all sorts of fun things to try out or try on!<br />

At Riverside, there’s the locomotives, the trams, the Subway and Main Street, plus much more to explore. The<br />

displays have lots of interactive features to inspire young minds and if it’s a nice day, our <strong>summer</strong> beach outside<br />

Riverside is a great way to make a fun day out <strong>for</strong> all the family!<br />

Our other museum venues also have lots of fun activities on offer where you can get creative, make things,<br />

Treat your family to a top day out with our giant triceratops, brachiosaurus and<br />

everyone’s favourite, T-Rex. Our animatronic Spinosaurus and T-Rex will be roaring to<br />

life – a must-see <strong>for</strong> any dino fiend!<br />

There’s plenty to keep the kids busy with dino crafts, a roaming T-Rex and dino<br />

babies, between 29 June – 12 August.<br />
