Kohl Children’s Museum
2100 Patriot Boulevard...............................................(847) 832-6600
Situated on nearly nine acres of land, Kohl Children’s Museum
of Greater Chicago features 17 interactive exhibits designed
with expert knowledge of how children learn. Within its world
class Glenview facility, opened in 2005, you’ll find enrichment
activities and programs designed to specifically address the
developmental needs of children ages birth to 8. It’s no wonder
we welcome more than 300,000 visitors each year.
The great outdoors opens up to Museum visitors in our 2-acre
nature park called Habitat Park. Here, children explore unique
climbing structures, a prairie grass maze, water painting
wall, solar and wind power, a sensory garden and a 10-piece
interactive sculpture trail.
Inside, the fundamental connections that set the stage for a
lifetime of learning— connections in their developing minds,
bodies, and spirits—are nurtured and encouraged, celebrated
and transformed, all through the power of play.
