Marleen Renee Bauer (nee
Burcenski)
Marleen “Marcy” Renee Bauer
(nee Burcenski), 59, of Lockport,
died May 31. She was a graduate
of Lockport Township High
School and Illinois State University.
Marcy worked at Porter
Drugs and Gifts alongside
her husband, Don. She enjoyed
fishing in Canada and spending
time in Florida with her parents.
Marcy is survived by her husband,
Don; daughter, Marla; father,
Martin Burcenski; sisters,
Colleen (Jerry) Dillon, Jolleen
(Bob) Szeliga and Holly Burcenski;
brothers, Marty (Cheryl) and
Monty (Sheryl) Burcenski; stepdaughters,
Andrea (Corey) Adams
and Deanne (Tate) Straughn;
step-sons, Brian, Eric (Katherine)
and Kevin (Jennifer) Bauer; stepgrandchildren,
nieces, nephews,
great-nieces and great-nephews
also survive. In lieu of flowers,
donations in Marcy’s memory
to The University of Chicago
Cancer Center, 5841 S. Maryland
Ave. in Chicago. Her family had
a special celebration of life for
Marcy on June 6.
