<strong>Standby</strong> <strong>Letter</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Credit</strong> Procedure<br />
1. For the initial procedure <strong>of</strong> <strong>SBLC</strong>, importer/buyer<br />
should send a request to BWT together with the sales<br />
and purchase agreement or pro-forma invoice.<br />
2. After we receive the required transaction details,<br />
BWT will evaluate the trade deal between the importer<br />
and exporter. We will inform the Importer’s company if<br />
their request will be rejected or approved to carry on<br />
the <strong>SBLC</strong> transaction.
<strong>Standby</strong> <strong>Letter</strong> <strong>of</strong> <strong>Credit</strong> Procedure<br />
3. If the <strong>SBLC</strong> request has been approved, BWT will<br />
draft a service agreement. Accordingly, the admin<br />
charges will be informed to the client to begin working<br />
on their <strong>Standby</strong> LC transaction.<br />
4. The importer’s company will provide documents<br />
needed and pay the <strong>SBLC</strong> issuance fee charges.<br />
5. BWT will instantly provide <strong>SBLC</strong> from their Top<br />
European bank accounts to conclude the trade deal<br />
within 2 banking days.
