A great World Gin Day experience
Silent Pool Distillers, home of the
award winning Silent Pool Gin, held
their third public open day to help
celebrate their favourite day of the
year, ‘World Gin Day’. The distillery
welcomed all members of the public
for a family-friendly day out next
to the spring-fed Silent Pool.
Surrounded by elements from their
award winning Chelsea Flower Show
garden, guests enjoyed live music
from local artist Pixie and sensational
gourmet food from Surrey Spice.
The talented team of distillers served
drinks from their enticing bar menu,
showcasing the distillery’s handcrafted
range of 6 other gins, fruit based
liqueurs and their super smooth
WRY vodka with each of the Silent
Pool Gin drinks served in one of their
beautifully branded Copa glasses.
Free distillery tours ran throughout
the day where attendees had an
exclusive first peak at the new 1800L
bespoke copper still, 5 times the size
of the original still, Juliet. Not only
this, but they even witnessed the new
bottling line in action – a real first! A
sea of teal bottles glided through this
mechanical marvel, each bottle filled
with delectable Silent Pool Gin and
capped with beautiful glass stoppers.

Gin is rolling out across the World, but
none of this could have been achieved

our local followers. Open Day was a
chance to give something back.”
