Parade and Fireworks

Mokena. The Mokena
Chamber of Commerce’s
annual 4th of July parade
and fireworks display is a
longstanding tradition. The
parade will proceed north on
Wolf Road between Mokena
Street and Granite Dr. The
fireworks display will commence
at the intersection of
LaPorte Road and Mokena
Street between 9:30 and
9:50 p.m. with thousands of
people expected to attend the
day’s festivities.
July 4th Bash
5-9 p.m. July 4, Main Park,

Mokena. Celebrate Independence
and Illinois with the
Mokena Community Public
Library District and the
Mokena Park District. There
will be food vendors, bounce
houses, balloon artists, face
painters, games and an all
ages mechanical bulldog.

on the stage between 5 p.m.
and 7 p.m at this free family
event including visits
from Crosstown Exotics and
School of Rock. Grab a seat
