Kay Lester Technology and
Education Fund
In 2017, the Kay Lester Technology and Education Fund
was established through a $10,000 donation from former
Provincetown educator Katherine “Kay” Lester. A life-long
educator, Ms. Lester taught school in Provincetown from
1966 – 1967, then taught at Nauset Public schools from
1968 - 1985. She wanted to create a lasting legacy for
teachers, students, and life-long learners at the Pilgrim
Monument and Provincetown Museum. The funds will be
used to support educational and technology initiatives. Miss
Lester passed away in May 2018.
