Daniela Fábián Masoch
Global Head of Data Privacy, Novartis AG
Daniela Fábián Masoch is the Global Head Data Privacy at Novartis. She is responsible
for setting the privacy compliance strategy for the Group and driving the
implementation and monitoring of the group wide privacy compliance program. She
leads the Novartis Global Privacy Network, the Privacy Steering Team and the Legal
Practice Team. She has also responsibilities as local Data Protection Officer for the
Group Companies in Switzerland.
Prior to this position, Daniela was Senior Corporate Counsel in the Corporate Legal Department at Novartis,
responsible for supporting global functions in a broad variety of legal matters.
Daniela is an attorney at law with special expertise in data protection & privacy, employment law, contract
law and environmental law. She is a board member of the International Pharmaceutical Privacy Consortium
(IPPC) and a member of the European Privacy Officers Forum as well as the Swiss Data Protection Officers
Consortium (VUD).

Chris Farris
General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer, Click 4 Compliance
Chris Farris is General Counsel at Click 4 Compliance, bringing over 19 years of experience
on a wide variety of legal and management issues. He is also a member of the C4C
Executive Management Team.
Chris held a variety of senior positions in the Legal and Compliance Organization of Sun
Microsystems, including General Counsel of Sun Federal, General Counsel of the Americas (including the
U.S., Latin America and Canada). Chris managed a team of over 30 employees responsible for sales revenues
in excess of $6 billion.
His expertise includes Government Contracts, risk management, complex negotiations, legal team
management, and corporate compliance. At Sun, Chris led several major projects, including an overhaul of
the standard sales templates and processes, as well as a significant expansion of the Legal Wiki at Sun to aid
lawyers and contract managers in their complex negotiations. He also advised senior business leaders at Sun
on major overseas operations and internal investigations.
Prior to working for Sun, Chris worked for 6 years as an associate at Crowell & Moring in Washington, DC,
where he worked in both the Health Care and Government Contracts groups. Chris received his B.A. in
Sociology and French from the College of William & Mary in 1989, and his J.D. from William & Mary’s
Marshall-Wythe School of Law in 1992.
