P/T Development Services Inspector
The Village of Homer Glen is seeking a part-time
Development Services Inspector to perform site
development and municipal construction field inspections,
plan reviews and drainage, traffic and safety complaint
reviews and follow-up, utility permits and other tasks as
required. The position will work approximately 18 hours
per week. Minimum Qualifications: Requires HS diploma
or GED, excellent communication skills, ability to read and
comprehend plans, perform general math calculations,
calculate basic algebra and geometry formulas and possess
a valid driver's license. At least 5 yrs. experience in
construction or engineering services related to municipal
construction inspection and moderate level of drainage
concepts and design. Pay Rate: $26.00/hr, with no fringe

PRODUCTION WORKER
Specialty Plastic Fabricators located in Mokena, IL
Summary: Responsible for performing production work on a team
or individual assignment in aflexible plastic fabrication shop.
Assembles, cleans, folds, inspects and packages final products.
Safety and quality are of utmost importance. Hours are
7am–3:30pm Monday-Friday. Current SUMMER HOURS are
6am-3:30pm Monday-Wednesday, 6am-1:30pm Thursday, and
6am-12pm Friday. Overtime, when needed, will be offered inthe
remaining hours on Thursday and Friday.
Job Criteria:

– Strong attention to detail
– Ability to read a tape measure and use basic math skills
– Ability to stand and maneuver around a production facility
for up to 9 hours/day.

Part-Time Building Inspector
The Village of Mokena has an opening in the Community
Development Department for a Part-Time Building
Inspector. The successful candidate will have a background
in construction and building code administration, excellent
interpersonal and communication skills, and the ability to
multi-task in a high activity work environment. Proficiency
in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel, or the ability to
learn same, is required. Duties include, but are not limited
to, working with residents and contractors regarding the
enforcement of building and zoning codes, reviewing
permit applications and construction documents, and
performing field inspections as needed. Municipal
experience and ICC certifications preferred but not
required. Starting pay $30.00 to $40.00 per hour depending
