JULY 6, 7 • Featuring three world-premiere
commissions by the winners of
our national composition competition
in partnership with the American Composers
Forum, the evening navigates
the wide topography of life itself. From
the five stages of grief to a tribute to the
100th Birthdays of Thelonious Monk,
Dizzy Gillespie, and Leonard Bernstein, to
the impromptu remarks of children at the
dinner table, this show shines a light as
diverse as The Human Experience itself.

What I Leave Behind
JULY 13, 14 • The need to contribute
something greater than
ourselves is as ancient as it is universal.
Paired with a newly commissioned
visual artscape, PNME
weaves two world-premieres into a
moving meditation that ultimately
asks: “When I’m gone... what remains?”

JULY 20, 21 • With doses of peculiarity
and humor sprinkled throughout the
night, PNME soprano Lindsay Kesselman
strikes a chord of universal resonance as
she takes the audience from triumph to
tragedy. This powerful emotional journey
illuminates the edges of our most essential
human need: to love and be loved.
Come ready to laugh, cry, hope, and ultimately
know yourself fully once again.

The Gray Cat and the Flounder
JULY 27, 28 • Inspired by a true story, this
touching tale grapples with life, loss, and the
true nature of friendship. In this immersive
production, headphones provide each
audience member with an experience both
intimate and communal. Weaving cartoons,
poetry, music and imagined ballet, this
show reminds us that with a shared sense of
silliness, and the freedom to express it, we can
draw the world as we wish it to be.
