Copaiba Oil
Copaiba oil is tapped from special trees found in the Amazon
jungle. The trees are not killed by tapping the pleasant smelling oil
which naturally replenishes itself year after year. The oil has
traditionally been used as an anti-septic, wound-healer, painreliever
and anti-inflammatory - properties which are supported by
much modern research. These benefits and others make it a
valuable addition to your daily skincare.
Finger Lime (cellular extract)
Like Aloe, this native Australian fruit extract promotes skin
penetration to enhance skin nourishment and boosts renewal of
skin cells leading to smoother, healthier looking skin.
Fulvic Minerals
Fulvic minerals are ancient plant derived mineral deposits that
have been complexed with Fulvic acids, highly bioactive
substances produced by bacteria as they digest and decompose
natural materials in the soil. They are the essential link that
transform inorganic minerals into highly bioavailable organic
mineral complexes capable of nourishing and energising the cells
of the body. They help transport nutrients across cell membranes,
are potent antioxidants, assist enzymatic reactions, stimulate
metabolism and balance the electrochemical charge of cells.
SATIVA skincare would not be as effective as it is without this
supercharged source of full-spectrum minerals.
Gotu Kola
This oriental herb has been used for rejuvenating skin since
ancient times in India, China and Indonesia. It was used as a
treatment for leprosy which should say something about its ability
to transform the health of skin. Extracts of the herb have good skin
penetrating ability where they boost blood supply to the applied
area while inhibiting bacterial growth and boosting collagen
synthesis. All of this results in glowing skin that is smoother with
fewer blemishes.
Green Tea (cellular extract)
Green Tea extract is a rich source of diverse antioxidant nutrients
including caffeine. Green Tea’s antioxidants prevent the damage
that causes skin to age and research over the last decade has now
confirmed caffeine’s ability to accelerate hair-growth.
