Lemon Myrtle (cellular extract)
Besides it’s delightful energising aroma, this native Australian plant
contains some unique antioxidant compounds proven to benefit
skin and hair health while stabilising and enhancing the potency of
Vitamin C. The result is a great skin penetrator and protector that
you will find in all our skin and haircare products.
Pracaxi Oil
Like Copaiba, Pracaxi oil comes from the Amazon Jungle. It is the
world’s richest known source of Behenic acid giving it profound
moisturising properties. It is commonly used to make hair smooth
and glossy. In the Amazon it is known as “sutura da mata” (jungle
suture) owing to its ability to close and heal wounds and other
forms of skin damage. For these reasons you will find this exotic oil
in Sativa’s skin moisturiser and hair conditioner.
Sapindus Berry
The Sapindus berry from India is a rich source of natural saponins
and vitamins that are especially good for cleansing the hair and
skin while promoting hair health and shine. They are anti-microbial
and have been traditionally used for killing hair lice. Unlike harsh
chemical cleansers Sapindus berry extract is gentle on skin and
hair and makes up an important ingredient in our face cleanser
and hair shampoo.
Witch Hazel
Organic Witch Hazel is a time-tested floral extract for keeping
skin blemish-free. It has anti-bacterial, anti-inflammatory
properties and helps tighten the skin keeping it looking smooth.
Rosehip (CO2 extract)
