old-fashioned ambiance. The restored Victorian has three unique guestrooms, a congenial
atmosphere, and a parlor with a fireplace, library, antiques, and local art. A perfect retreat for
outdoor enthusiasts, birders, kayakers, bicyclists, and those who appreciate efforts toward living in a
more eco-friendly manner.
In partnership with the Point Reyes National Seashore, the Inn's proprietors are the coordinators of
Sustainable West Marin, and as business partners with Marin Organic, we are working toward a
simpler, greener lifestyle.
Conveniently located in the village of Inverness Park, just minutes from the redwoods and beaches
of the Point Reyes National Seashore, two miles from Park Headquarters. Abundant outdoor
activities await you, leisurely beach walks, kayaking, bicycling, hiking, birding, and horseback riding.
We provide a healthy organic breakfast, off-season discounts, and rates of $110 to $150, double
occupancy. The Inn features a lattice enclosed hot tub under the open sky, and professional
massage is available by appointment in our cozy gazebo.

At our bed and breakfast, the food is healthy and delicious, all organic, and whenever possible
acquired and produced locally. During the growing season, your breakfast includes produce from
our organic garden. It's great to be in California, with its long growing season! The rest of the year,
the majority of our food is locally grown or provided.
Low fat, gluten-free, no eggs, vegetarian, vegan and low calorie options are just some of the meal
choices that Avalon B&B has accommodated. With Hilary's talent for cooking, she actually loves the
challenge of a special diet and she will happily adapt the meal to your needs.
We are 35 miles north of San Francisco and the Golden Gate Bridge, secluded in the majestic
redwoods.
