This year’s Sales Tax Holiday is <strong>August</strong> 10 th -12 th . As in previous years, the law exempts most clothing, footwear, school supplies and backpacks<br />
priced under $100 from sales and use taxes, which could save shoppers about $8 on every $100 they spend. Many school supplies<br />

• Bedtime schedules: wind down your day 30 minutes earlier<br />
and start going to bed on time<br />
• Screen time: put away mobile devices, TV, games, etc.<br />
so your eyes get ready for sleep<br />
• Make a list: prepare a list of to-do’s for the next day as<br />
if it were a school day<br />
• Lunch prep: make sack lunches as if you would for the school year<br />
• Wakey wakey: start waking up at the same school schedule time<br />
• Read, read, read: 30 minutes of reading will put your children<br />
ahead of the game for the new school year!<br />
