Moocooboola Festival to showcase
the best of our heritage municipality
MORE THAN 30,000 people are expected to enjoy Hunters Hill’s Moocooboola Festival, which will
be held at Boronia Park Oval on Sunday August 5 from 9.30am until 4pm.
This FREE festival is
one of the largest annual
events held in The Weekly
Times territory and showcases
the talent of dozens
of young local performers,
craft makers and community
organisations.
It is hosted by Hunters
Hill Council and is one of
the largest family orientated
events in Sydney.
“This Festival returns in
2018 and offers something
for everybody,” Hunters
Hill Mayor Mark Bennett
said.
“There will be live music
from visiting guests
performers, comedy and
dance.
“Adrenaline seekers of
all ages will be entertained
with heaps of rides, rock
climbing wall and much
more.
“You might discover your
talent for juggling or find
out what it takes to get into
clown university on our circus
playground.”
Pets are welcome and
one of Moocooboola’s
highlights is the annual dog
show, where local people
and their four legged
friends show off their tricks
and themed costumes.
“Animal lovers can have
a cuddle with animals on
our walk-in animal farm, or
see which dog wins ‘Dog
of the Year’ Award at the
Dog Show”
“After strolling through
the market bazaar where
you might find your newest
treasure, sample some
great food, have a refreshing
beverage of your
choice or just relax and enjoy
the entertainment.”
Local heritage and sporting
clubs and Radio 2RRR
also have stalls at the festival.
