These conferences have been co-located since 2011. This forum is designed to disseminate the most recent results in advanced

The 5 th International Conference on Micro Manufacturing (ICOMM) was held on the University of Wisconsin-

MSEC 2011 / NAMRC 39 

This was the first year that the ASME Manufacturing Science and Engineering Conference (MSEC) and the 

NAMRI/SME North American Manufacturing Research Conference (NAMRC) were co-located. There is one host, 

one conference location, joint keynotes, panels, tours, meals, and registration fee. Each conference’s scientific 

committee handles the paper/presentation review/acceptance and publication process. The conference was held on 

the Oregon State University campus (Corvallis, OR) on June 13-17, 2011 and organized by Prof. Brian Paul.
