Surgeon’s Preset Center<br />

HF-GENERATOR<br />

A preset center allows up to 10 surgeons to store their preferred power settings<br />

in the Cut, Coagulation and Bipolar Modes.<br />

Cutting<br />

A digitally controlled and regulated cutting effect. The intelligent digital system<br />

technology with FAST DIGITAL FEETBACK SYSTEM (FDFS TM<br />

) permits reproducible<br />

cuts regardless of the tissue type. FDFS TM<br />

technology offers digitally controlled<br />

cutting effects for efficient operation and optimal results with a high<br />

degree of safety. This innovative cut behaviour can be utilized in a variety of procedures,<br />

from high-powered/high-impedance procedures (CUT I) to general<br />

applications (CUT II).<br />

CUT I mode has a digitally controlled cutting quality that ensures performance<br />

when cutting adipose tissue or cutting underwater with minimal output power.<br />

CUT II mode is a less aggressive cutting effect with the highest degree of safety<br />

to precise effects in general applications or microsurgery.<br />

Blended cutting mode with 10 blend settings affords the most effective blend setting<br />

for the desired effect during any kind of procedure.<br />

Calibration Free<br />

The Promed <strong>PB</strong>-<strong>400</strong> does not need any calibration due to its digital technology.<br />

Coagulation<br />

A digital controlled and regulated coagulation effect.<br />

Promed <strong>PB</strong>-<strong>400</strong> coagulation technology performes monopolar and bipolar coagultion<br />

effectively in every type of tissue and a variety of procedures. Pinpoint<br />

coagulation mode delivers a digitally controlled rapid desiccation effect with<br />

minimally carbonization and less sticking of the active electrode. Spray coagulation<br />

mode gives digitally controlled non-contact coagulation with a slight penetration<br />

of the tissue surface. Bipolar mode also uses digital technology to reduce<br />

instrument sticking and minimize tissue destruction.<br />

Foot Switch Indicator<br />

A display on the front of the generator clearly indicates if one or two<br />

foot switches are connected.<br />
