Installation styles
#13: C-Frame grille with countersunk mounting holes in
the sidewalls of the frame to facilitate the use of screws
to secure the grille in place. These mounting holes are
hidden from direct view once installed. The core is loose
or mechanically removable from the frame.
#14: D-Frame grille that drops into the open space of
mill-work, sheet-rock, etc. Blocking or a ridge within the
mill-work is required for the grille to rest on. Also known
as a “Drop In” style of grille.
#15: D-Frame grille with mounting tabs to facilitate the
use of screws to secure the grill in place. Blocking or a
ridge within the mill-work is required for the grille to
mount upon.
#16: D-Frame grille with countersunk mounting holes
