Designed by the prestigious Architects ‘MAKE’ this £615m complex will provide
Nottingham University students with a new improved educational experience,

John Henry Newman are among 277 schools across the country which have

Grade 1 listed buildings is recognition of the long established history and their
commitment to excellent.

This project was designed to provide a mixed use of educational facilities,

of this design was to provide a purpose built which ‘fits in’ within the local
environment and is beneficial to the wider community. SEC Electrical are proud

Pitsford School
Duckworth Building. Named after the motoring engineer Keith Duckworth
founder of Cosworth Engineering. Co-incidentally SEC Electrical now occupy the
original research / design offices next door to the existing Cosworth buildings in
St. James, where Keith Duckworth designed and built the ‘Double four valve
engine’ used exclusively today in F1.

Woodlands Secondary School, Luton
This £3.5million extension to the Woodlands Secondary School in Luton will
accommodate students with various learning difficulties, the future education
department, administration offices and a new staffroom. In a bid to build schools
for the future, The Woodlands Secondary School has undergone a radical
transformation. The aim of the expansion is to address the much needed school
places in the town.

COMMERCIAL SECTOR AND LOCAL AUTHORITY PROJECTS
MAHLE, Power Train, Northampton
SEC’s neighbours MAHLE have invested £8 million in this new ‘State of the Art’
test facility. The new site will become the campaigns global centre for (RDE)
“Real Dimming Emissions”. The development of this facility is to respond to the
new European wide emission tests introduced in September 2017, another project
where SEC have contributed to keeping the carbon footprint to a minimum.
Teaming alongside a local Mechanical Contractor to provide a fully integrated
M&E package, our installations began at the client supplied Transformer and
SEC provided the LV connections for the new facility.
A new 2500A bespoke arrangement Switch Panel provides power to Distribution
Boards, Mechanical Plant, Lighting, Small Power, Fire, Security systems, Access
Control, External Services.

Saints, Franklins Gardens, Northampton — New Barwell Stand
SEC have recently completed the electrical works to the new Barwell Stand at
Northampton Saints. Working to a very tight deadline this intensive programme of
works highlights our ability to get the job done on time. The new stands estimated
cost of £6.5million has raised the stadiums capacity to nearly 16,000.

on "the right track!"

This Roman Wall town, which human activity dates back 10,000 years, has been

and classrooms for school visits.

This £30 million anaerobic digestion plant in rural Buckinghamshire burns 50,000
tonnes of biomass made up mostly of dairy products from the neighbouring Arla
site. This “State of the Art” project was delivered on time and on budget to a very
high standard.

Carlsberg, Northampton—New Bottling Hall
Known as the Carlsberg Cube, the 7,000 sq. m site marks the final stage of a
£60million development on the brewer's site. This highly automated building
threw many different obstacles in our way, ensuring specific areas were
completed quickly to enable the installation of the bottling equipment, which
was imperative to ensure the plant was up and running on time.

Molson Corrs, Burton on Trent
Founded in 1777 by William Bass. Their brand was Bass Pale Ale, once the highest
selling beer in the UK and in fact by 1877 it was largest brewery in the world. The
Worthington brand was purchased from Bass by the American brewing company
Coors in 2002, which following a merger became Molson Coors in 2005. The new
production facility is part of a £15million investment by the brewery.

Brewer, Heineken, has invested £50,000,000 in its Manchester Site to improve
its facility and increase its production. Heineken Manchester is the world’s biggest
brewer of Foster’s as well as home to Kronenbourg 1664 in the UK. This
investment will enable the brewer to increase production by approximately
around 350 million pints.
