How to handle broken bones<br />
1. Make sure the staff member is safe,<br />
if serious DO NOT MOVE THEM<br />
2. Call the ambulance<br />
3. Control Any Bleeding<br />
4. If broken Arm, Hand, Fingers, Leg, Foot, Toes try to<br />
make them feel comfortable by using a sling or splint<br />
5. Use ice to reduce swelling –<br />
Make sure the ice is covered and not directly<br />
on the skin<br />
(Leave covered ice on for 15 minutes and off for 15<br />
minutes, repeat until help arrives)<br />
