description<br />
In line with IEC 61496-1 and IEC 61496-2, these light curtains<br />
are suitable for securing danger areas, particularly<br />
where there is a need to protect operators’ fingers.<br />
Six different models are available, with protection field<br />
heights from approx. 160 to 900mm. A resolution of 14mm<br />
and an operating distance of 6m are guaranteed with each<br />
of these models.<br />
Special DIP switches enable a very simple and fast device<br />
setup. The DIP switches are located behind a cover on the<br />
front side of the receiver unit, which can be opened with a<br />
standard screwdriver.<br />
In this way, the system can be configured according to the<br />
safety requirements. As well as selecting the manual or<br />
automatic reset function, it also allows the selection of<br />
muting or partial muting.<br />
Muting is a time-limited delay of the protection function,<br />
with additional sensors to differentiate between persons<br />

and objects. Using this function, objects such as palettes can<br />
pass through the protection field without triggering the<br />
protection function.<br />
The transmit and receive units are optically synchronized.<br />
As well as the control switching circuits, all inputs and outputs<br />
are located within the housing.<br />
Thanks to the compact dimensions, as well as the simple<br />
connection and installation technology, this range of light<br />
curtains offers the user optimum protection in all industrial<br />
safety applications.<br />
