What is it?<br />

A seated exercise &<br />

movement programme<br />

packed with fun, music &<br />

laughter, specially designed to<br />

help improve the fitness of<br />

your mind and body.<br />

Love to Move is the first exercise programme of its kind in the UK: proven to have significant<br />

physical, emotional and cognitive benefits for all participants, with those living with<br />

dementia experiencing the biggest benefits to their well-being.<br />

Sessions run on Mondays 10am – <strong>12</strong>noon, starting with a chat over tea and coffee with the<br />

Norris Museum Reminiscence Group, followed by the British Gymnastics Foundation Love to<br />

Move programme, delivered by an experienced and enthusiastic tutor<br />

Crossways Christian Centre, Ramsey Road, St Ives<br />

Monday mornings 10am – <strong>12</strong>noon<br />

The Friday Group,<br />

A friendly group run entirely by volunteers<br />

who all have long term experience of<br />

helping people with dementia.<br />

We provide support for sufferers of low<br />

to medium dementia and their carers in a<br />

loving, respectful, and happy environment.<br />

We offer interesting and stimulating<br />

activities, and entertainment.<br />

The group is open to anyone from the<br />

local area including March, Ramsey,<br />

Somersham, and surrounding villages.<br />

Meets every Friday 10am to 3pm.<br />

Cost £6.50 per day including a<br />

2 course lunch.<br />
