DEPUTY PAUL WILBURN RETIRING<br />
After over 35-1/2 years of service with the Harris County Sheriff’s<br />
Office Deputy Paul Wilburn retired on July 31 st . Paul has managed<br />
our security patrol since we transitioned from using the<br />
Constables in 2011 and during this time we have experienced a<br />
crime rate considerably lower than that in the areas immediately<br />
surrounding our subdivision. The Board would like to express its<br />
appreciation to Paul for the diligent manner in which he has performed<br />
his duties and wishes him a long and enjoyable retirement.<br />
To continue the security service for our neighborhood the Board<br />
accepted Paul’s recommendation that this responsibility be entrusted<br />
to Patrol Sargent Chad King. Chad has served with the<br />
Harris County Sheriff’s Office for 13 years and during the several<br />
years that he has also been a member of our security team has<br />
developed a good relationship with citizens in our neighborhood.<br />
Chad was raised in <strong>Williamsburg</strong> <strong>Settlement</strong> and at one time<br />
was a coach to our swim team. His family still resides here. We<br />
look forward to Chad’s contribution to maintaining <strong>Williamsburg</strong><br />
<strong>Settlement</strong> as the safe community that it is today.<br />
