Connecting circuits<br />
Electrical circuits can be connected in two ways:<br />
Series<br />
In a series circuit , the current flows along a<br />
single path from the battery, throu gh each<br />
component in turn and back to the battery.<br />
Parallel<br />
The current in a parallel circuit can flow<br />
along more than one path and through the<br />
components in each branch of the circuit at<br />
the same time.<br />
You are going to investigate both types of circuit.<br />
You will need:<br />
• 2 batteries • 4 light globes<br />
• 4 switches • 13 connecting wires<br />
What to do:<br />
• Set up each circuit as shown in the diagrams.<br />
