Editor’s
Allie_King
Editor In-Chief
This month I’m very
excited to introduce someone
whose reputation precedes
them by almost as far as his
experience has taken him:
Quenty. He is undeniably one
of the greatest and most reputable
developers on and to
have ‘graduated’ from Roblox,
moving forward to incorporate
projects out with Roblox to his
extensive CV. I say ‘graduated’
loosely as Quenty is still, and
possibly even more so than
ever before, part of the Roblox
community – lucky for us. A
former Roblox intern, a current
intern for Microsoft and an avid
developer, it is no surprise to
the extents of his fame - fame
which he is so modest with.
Having created models that we
all probably have used, if not
- certainly know of, such as his
own Admin script, and learned
a great deal from; and developer
of his own game Whatever
Floats Your Boat, an incredibly
popular game with over 38
million visits – having been live
for less than a year, it is obvious
why we wanted to talk to him
so desperately. Luckily for us
he agreed and now we have
the rare opportunity to ask him
a range of questions related to
his vast and intriguing experience.
Experience consisting of,
but most definitely not limited
to: the creation of his very own
server-client module loader
called Nevermore, an internship
with Microsoft, and his
very own Roblox toy – which is
purchasable from Amazon.
We also unravel the
mysteries of the Roblox Accelerator
Program, a program that
is unheard of by most unless
you already have made a start
in the Roblox development
world – which in my case
means hurriedly researching
the program, so as to seem
like you understand it whilst
editing. Though, unfortunately,
applications for the program
and its sibling the Incubator
Program, for 2019 have now
closed, you will most definitely
be able to apply next year for
the 2020 program.
Exploring our roots,
where we come from and who
lived in our past, is something
most people will do only once
they have reached old age and
become sentimental, but we’ve
acquired such sentimentality
early and look to see how
Hidden Developers was started
and what journey was taken
to get to where we are now.
If there are any dirty, naughty
secrets – we want to know.
HeadlessHorror is well
known by anyone in the

Letter
Hidden Developers’ community,
but is also an amazing Mesh
Designer and Builder. We’ve
taken a look at one of the
games he is working on: Yard
Work Simulator. Though adverse
to pretty much any form
of exercise, we have trampled
out of the house and into the
yard to see how yard work
again – except to go to RDC.
On the topic of RDC,
Roblox Developer Conference,
we sent one of our Editors out
into the world to experience
RDC in the flesh. We’re hoping
on return they have recovered
from the excitement enough
to tell us everything that happened.
We’ll be bringing you
Developers’ archive we feel
rather at home in dark spaces,
only fitting that we review
Miner’s Haven. A game so
simple in name your really can’t
get confused. Reluctantly, we
left such an exuberant haven
to come back and tell the tale
so you don’t have to bang your
head in the mind shaft – or can,
is done by the professionals,
without the exertion. All we
need now is to get an automated
vacuum and we’ll never
have to get up from our chairs
a review on RDC next issue so
you can decide if you wish to
attend yourself or not.
Having grudgingly
trudged through the Hidden
it’s your choice!
Writer
Miner’s Haven was created by the famous developer, known as Berezaa. It is a grand strategy
game, centred on the mining industry, that allows you to build and design how your ores are
upgraded and processed into your credits that you can use to make more! Meet up with friends
as your new ores are organized by your conveyors Collect chests to test your luck, and you might
get a rare item! I promise that as you play this game, you will get more and more addicted to it.
Travel the beautiful Miner’s Haven word, with so much to see. Receive fun and exciting items and
creatures like the „Zwambie” and the „Ninja Diamond Mine.” Explore the item shop; remember to
save your money because you want the best. Compete to get on the leaderboard - that can be
found on the mountain. Don’t get annoyed, it is meant to be a challenge. Get more and more lives
to help with your chances on the leaderboard. While you’re exploring the map, be sure to collect
crates to get free loot! And don’t be scared of not knowing about new updates; check the word of
the day for all news on the latest updates! Don’t be panicked to leave the game, the game automatically
saves and still collects some of the money you’d receive otherwise. Be sure to be

can’t help but agree, the building doesn’t take long to master, and it doesn’t have to be arranged
it, and I can’t blame them! So be sure to tell us what your favourite part of Miner’s Haven is too.
So, let’s end the article with a conclusion. Miner’s Haven is an almost impossible game to top. It’s
simple and takes a long time to not have fun.

Interview with Quenty
Quenty tells us his
exclusive interview wi
In this issue of Just Create, Phenomizon and
VeryRBLX invited Quenty for an interview, former intern at
Roblox. He told us his roots on Roblox and his developing
experiences.
Quenty
Roblox Developer
When did you start developing on Roblox?
I started developing on Roblox in 2009!
How did you get into developing?
My friend described Roblox as a place where you
could make your own game, and you could do anything. I
always figured that the coolest people on Roblox were the
people who made things, and I wanted to be one of them.
How was your experience working with Roblox?
Working with Roblox has been great!
What words of advice do you have for aspiring
developers?
| Showcase “A critique of fire”
by Quenty. Fire in the forest was
meant to symbolize spread of
hate in social media.
Try to finish something and publish it! I still have
trouble with this, but in the end, if you don’t release your
work, no one will get to see it. You may think something
you’ve made isn’t as great as it could be, but that’s ok.
Someone will love it regardless.

Interview with Quenty
path through Roblox!
th Quenty
What was your first creation on Roblox?
The first model I published on Roblox was a poorly made spaceship inspired by Avatar. It
wasn’t great.
What motivated you to become a developer on Roblox?
I’ve always liked making things, and Roblox has been a great platform where I could make
something and get instant results. That’s super cool!
Can you describe the process of making a game?
Generally I’ll sit down and figure out what we’re making. I’ll talk about what we’re trying to
achieve and make sure there’s a good monetization strategy, a good idea of what the target audience
is, and what platforms we want to support. Then it generally comes down to coordinating
schedules, finding time to work on the game, and prototyping in a way that makes it easy to test. I
think it’s really important to test your work against other things.
How long did it take you to learn Lua?
9 years! I’m still learning how to write effective Lua. While I have all the basics down pretty
well, there are always things I can do to improve my programming ability. I don’t think I’ll ever
stop learning.
How did you find Roblox?
A friend pointed it out to me on a long car ride home. They made me install it the next day
and I’ve been hooked ever since.
What impact has Roblox had on you? As a member of Roblox since 2009, what are your
thoughts on how the Roblox development community has changed and grown?
Roblox has defined my career and my aspirations. I probably wouldn’t be as good at programming,
or maybe even programming at all, without Roblox.
Be sure to follow Quenty on Twitter!
@Quenty

16 justCreate. ISSUE 4
Interview with Quenty
I’m interning at Microsoft right now, something that probably wouldn’t have happened
without Roblox on my resume. Roblox has opened so many doors for me! The Roblox development
community has always changed and grown. There’s good and bad things with this sort of
growth, but overall I think the resources available to new Roblox developers have never been
greater. Roblox really is powering imagination, and the development community is key to this.
The DevRel [Developer Relations] team does a great job responding to inquires in a timely manner,
I couldn’t ask for a better set of people.
What has your experience been as a QA tester?
It turns out although I’m technically a QA tester; the amount of QA testing I do is limited.
However, a lot of times the QA testers help me out with various projects. They’re part of the success
behind each Roblox event game, and they don’t get enough recognition.
What is it like to be a Roblox Developer during College, and how do people usually react when
they find out?
Being a Roblox developer is pretty neat while being in College because it means I can apply
what I’ve learning in College to Roblox. Most people are pretty chill about Roblox. I don’t find
many active players, but there’s often times people who know about it (or more often, someone
younger who plays it). All my friends give me trash about it, and I’ll get Roblox memes thrown at
me at random times.
What made you want to create your own engine, Nevermore?
Nevermore is just an attempt to reuse a lot of code on Roblox. I’m glad that other people
are able to take advantage of the code that I’ve written.
Having been one of the select few developers to have their own toy, what has it been like
knowing that your Roblox avatar has become a household item to many people?
It’s really neat, and a bit surreal. My Dad now has a great collection of Roblox toys that he
keeps at work.”
What is it like having such a large influence on the Roblox twitter and Roblox community?
It’s really nice, posting things and having people like them makes you feel really good.
However, the really great thing is forming all these lasting relationships with people in the Roblox
community. It’s been really great.
What inspired you to create Whatever Floats Your Boat?
Someone showed me quick prototype of the basic gameplay. It was a ton of fun, and
so after getting their permission to make the game, I quickly prototyped the game. One of the
thoughts running through my mind at the time was “I’ve done a lot of Roblox development; I
better have something to stick on a college application.” Fortunately, Whatever Floats your Boat
turned out well.”
Do you have any future projects in plan?
Of course! I can’t talk about them at this time (they’re secret!), but I’m working on a lot of
cool projects. Hopefully one will be announced around the time of RDC. I’ll probably never stop
making things.

feat
Quenty is one of many aspiring developers continually creating
on Roblox. His work is varying from terrain, 3D models, scenery, and
even plugins! Through Quenty’s career as a Roblox developer, he has
used Roblox Studio to the best of his advantage. Including building,
scripting, animating and more.
Alan Fackler says that he is “known for his innovative and creative
portfolio of Roblox creations.” Indeed, Quenty has created, throughout
his time on Roblox, many games, of which many have become popular.
Many of his most recent games use the Nevermore game engine
that he has developed and released under the MIT License on GitHub.
Nevermore is a complete game engine which suffers from incomplete
documentation and provides modules that can be useful in many kinds
of games: Quenty has developed it while developing his various games,
many of which have remained incomplete, which explains why the features
offered by Nevermore are so diverse.
He has made many amazing creations on Roblox shocking to the
eyes. One of many of his creations is the custom USS Monitor complete
with 2x triple barreled howitzers and turrets! Taking sail in the USS Monitor
keeping the seas safe with a correctly modeled USS monitor. Red
and Gray were giving plenty of contrast and complimenting the build
itself. Making use of Roblox Studio’s cutting parts and union, it has a stable
shape and smooth edges.
Quenty created a lot of games, but definitely, his most famous
creation is game called “Whatever Floats Your Boat” with over 37 million
visits and 118k+ thumbs up! It was created back in 2014, and it is still

ISSUE 4 j ustCreate. 21
ure
being updated. Whatever Floats Your Boat is a unique blend of PvP,
flood survival, and building. Players are given time to build a boat, and
when the water rises, players are given weapons and can attack each
other and destroy other each other’s ships. You get rewarded with money
and Experience Points every time you survive a flood. Earn Experience
points to level up to unlock more Props for more features! Building
Mode is the period in the game cycle where water is not present on the
map and players can safely build ships without fear of being attacked.
It is highly recommended to only build and construct during this period
as the threat of being attacked and bombed is excellent during the
Flood. However, building time is short, as it only lasts for 150 seconds. As
a final result, combat is disabled with ship cannons and players are not
equipped with weapons.
During the short time between building mode and the time when
guns can finally fire, swords can do damage and can kill players. Weapons
are the heart of the game, second to that of Building Props. Arms
provide the method of killing the player only during the Flood, as it’s not
possible to die during the Building Mode. Whether it be hand-to-hand
combat, ranged firefights, or ship bombardments, the satisfaction of
getting a kill for XP or destroying a ship is great fun.
Quenty made a lot of useful plugins too. One of his latest plugins
is allowing you to add terrain water without destroying terrain underneath
or to convert parts to the terrain which can be useful. He created
a lot of models too like ships, bridges, negative things, buildings, etc.
DataStores Tutorial
what’s DataStores?
..and how to script them!
Voydex
Writer
To script DataStores, the Roblox Wiki has a trove of information. However, if you are new,
you need to break the problem down. For example, if you want to store two items, and how
many of each item a player has, and the corresponding item IDs then the only type of data structure
that can store 2 values per one entry would be a multidimensional array, or a dictionary. In our
case, using a dictionary will make the code easier to read and interpret, because for each Value (in
our case the number) there is a Key (in our case “copies” or “id”).
local baseData = {
Hamburger = {
copies = 1,
ids = {
1
}}}
Now we have our initial data structure. But, what do we do when a player joins? We need
to check their data! If they have data, we use that, but if they do not, we use the initial data. To do
so, we need to know two things about the location of the data. To “find” a DataStore, we use a
key, and a scope. The Key is like a house name, and the Scope a road. You choose a road to go
down, until you find the Key’s corresponding house. This house will be where you dump or have
dumped all your data!
However, we aren’t done yet! Once we have the house (Key), we need to find the exact
room where we have all our data on the player. For this, we always use the player’s UserId property.
Then we can append a string to the end of this UserId to obfuscate it, which is not usually
necessary (here I use “Spaghetti”). By putting the above into a Players.PlayerAdded function, we
can easily do what we need!

DataStores Tutorial
ISSUE 4 j ustCreate. 23
local dService = game:GetService( “DataStoreService” )
local pService = game:GetService( “Players” )
local dKey = “Storage Slot 1”
local dScope = “Fast Food”
local dStore = dService:GetDataStore( dKey, dScope )
local obfuscator = “Spaghetti”
local playerData = {}
local function playerAdded( player )
local userId = player.UserId -- Never changes, hence why I use it here.
local obfuscatedPlayerKey = obfuscator .. tostring( userId )
local pData = dStore:GetAsync( obfuscatedPlayerKey )
if pData ~= nil and pData ~= “nil” and pData ~= “null” then
playerData[ player ] = pData
else
playerData[ player ] = baseData
end
end
pService.PlayerAdded:Connect( playerAdded )
However, we have only ’gotten’ the data. Saving is shown below! It is linked to a
Players.PlayerRemoving and by using this we can make the data only save when needed: when
the Player leaves. However, it is recommended that you save more often than this, because this
method may not work in all cases.
local function saveData( player )
if playerData[ player ] then
local obfuscatedPlayerKey = obfuscator .. tostring( player.UserId )
dStore:SetAsync( obfuscatedPlayerKey, playerData[ player ] )
end
end
Roblox Accelerator Program
Officially_MrDev
Writer
If you have been on Roblox for a while, you might have noticed that Roblox runs a program
called the Roblox Accelerator Program. You may be wondering, like us, what on earth this is!
The Roblox Accelerator Program is a unique program that Robloxians can sign up to each
year. In the program, it gives Roblox developers a chance to earn money for making Roblox
games. Roblox says that the Accelerator Program is ideal for people who are a knowledgeable
Roblox developer who would like an exciting, fast-paced and intense, paid development program
at Roblox’s HQ in San Mateo, California. They also state that this program is useful if you seek
experience as a paid game developer or you want guidance from their production staff on an

existing project that you’re working on. They say that to join the accelerator program you have to
be a hardworking individual or as part of a team and you strive to make incredible Roblox games.
Two fantastic games that took part in the accelerator program are MeepCity Racing and
Prison Royale. These games are both fully immersive and have incredible features in the game that
other game developers have not been able to add to their game in the past. This reinforces the
idea that the accelerator program is terrific. It brings out the best in Roblox developers and the
Roblox staff themselves. It pushes them both to the limits. It also shows us that anything is possible
when we work as part of a team.
In an interview for the Roblox Blog, the Roblox staff and the developers of Prison Royale

28 justCreate. ISSUE 4
Roblox Accelerator Program
both agreed that making the game was a real challenge. This was because they wanted to add a
unique feature to the game that no other Roblox game had been able to have before. This feature
was one hundred people in a server at one time. The developers wanted to make a one hundred
player server where a hundred players could battle it out in an open world environment trying to
find weapons to defend themselves and find food and drink to survive.
The Roblox Accelerator program doesn’t just help you with developing Roblox games. It
gives you a massive in sight to a lot more! It shows you what it is like to work at Roblox as a fulltime
employee and gives you the chance to talk to some Roblox employees and see Roblox from
their perspective. It also shows you what it is like to be a full time game developer. This could be
a priceless opportunity if you are thinking of going down that career path. Not many people get
that chance. Finally, if you are set on being a game developer, it will look amazing if you have it on
your CV. It could be the tipping point to you getting your dream job.
The Roblox Accelerator program is a fantastic program, and I would recommend it to any
Roblox Developer who is serious about making an excellent game and is serious about becoming
a game developer in the real world. It gives you the skills and experience no one else has in that
industry and will give you a massive head start.
The lesser known sibling on the Roblox Accelerator Program is the Incubator Program.
Though neither of these programs are particularly new, invitations for the Incubator Program
going out late 2016 and the Roblox Accelerator Program before that, neither are particularly well
known. The Incubator Program is fairly similar to the Accelerator Program; it is a program where
Roblox developers are invited to come along to the Roblox HQ and take an idea “from
inception to completion”. The Incubator is a more elite version of the
Accelerator Program for developers who already have a
strong footing in the development world. If you’re not
quite there, I completely recommend at least applying for
the Accelerator Program.
We’d like to congratulate everyone who
were accepted into 2019 Roblox Accelerator
and Incubator program!

called Forza Horizon 4. After that, Microsoft showed a trailer for a
new Tomb Raider game and a trailer for a new skateboard game
called Session. Finally, Microsoft finished their ridiculously long conference
with a trailer for another exciting match called JustCause 4.
This is the 4th installment in a fantastic game series. JustCause 3 was
terrific compared to JustCause 2, so a lot of people are expecting a
lot from this game.

In Bethesda’s conference, they told people that they are working on making an Elder Scrolls
mobile game. This was quickly followed by a trailer for a new Doom game called Doom Eternal.
This was followed by a joke trailer for Skyrim Special Edition. Shortly after showing that trailer they
spoke more about Fallout 76 and what the game will include. This was quickly followed by a short
trailer for a space game called Starfield. Finally, they announced the production of the new Elder
Scrolls VI.
Next, I will talk about Ubisoft’s conference. Ubisoft started with a stage performance
to announce the release of Just Dance 2019. After this, they showed the audience a trailer for the
highly anticipated game called The Crew 2 and announced that it was entering Open Beta that
day. An Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey trailer was shown closely followed by a trailer for the last of us
Part 2. Next was a trailer for a samurai game called the Ghost of Sushima. This is an action-packed
battle game, and the trailer showed a lot of interesting concepts for the game. A Resident Evil
2 Remake was then announced, and just after that, they showed some gameplay for a Walking
Dead style game. Finally, they finished off their conference by revealing their new spiderman
game called Marvel’s Spider-Man. Everyone thought the graphics were excellent and the trailer
for it showed Spiderman fighting lots of known villains escaping prison and ended by showing
Spiderman on a roof about to fight what looked like the villain’s leader.
Finally, Nintendo did a short conference. They started off by announcing that many games,
which includes Fortnite, are coming to the Nintendo Switch. They also showed a trailer for an anime
game and a trailer for Emblem 3.
There was so much shown this year at E3 including so many great games. It’s such a great
game conference and it is always so exciting. Did you watch it? Why not try watching it next year.
It’s worth it and it is delightful!

of the team are also very respectable developers, meaning that with a team as such the game is
of a high quality in build and code.
Another great thing about the game is how it is highly reasonable. With most games on the
site now, developer products and game passes are often set to high prices in which are not always
affordable and those that are, not particularly worth what you actually get with them. In Yard
Work Simulator the main developers, HeadlessHorror and YT_IntelPlayz, have thought very
smartly giving people the best for their money within the game.
I managed to catch a small interview with the development team of the game.
I
So people think these simulator games are easy to build, but
are they really?
MrAsync
They really aren’t. There’s more to it than meets the eye. For example, the system
that’s sets the player up with his or her backpack and tools and stats when they
join the game is 560 lines of code.
II
What’s different about Yard Work Simulator?
The difference between YWS and other simulators is all our updates are fan
driven. We strive to make the fan base / community around the game happy!
Is there anything that we should be looking out for to be added
HeadlessHorror
to the game any time soon?
The games future is very promising, what you see in the current live version is
without any doubt undergoing major change, although I don’t want to spoil all
the fun I’ll definitely give out some of the things we’re bringing in the near and far
future.
In the next few updates we want to get:
• A new area/zone out for players to explore and adventure through
• Script optimisation to allow for better performance and major improvements
with the current game such as User Interface improvements (such as prompts
for rebirthing and selling when your backpack is full)
• Particles + sounds when doing actions such as selling, farming, entering portals
and other interactive areas of the game.
IV
The game is relatively new and already attracted 1million visits!
Where do you see the game and its community going in the
HeadlessHorror
future?
The game is definitely doing well, a massive thanks for Tofuu’s support with the
video he created on our game where he was given our ‘admin tool’; which is
a super bright and vibrant tool that not many users will and have ever seen ingame.
The future of YWS is very promising in our eyes. As we are listening to our

42 justCreate. ISSUE 4 up and coming game: Yard Work Simulator
player base and strive to provide weekly updates, to make sure the game covers
the market. A massive help is from MrAsync where he visited Roblox’s Headquarters
in California to visit, he spoke to multiple Roblox Staff members, one of which
was Roblox’s stream team manager which means we may be seeing our game
played on stream in the near future and the person in charge of featured games.
V
What was the hardest and the most fun part of this project?
MrAsync
The hardest part of the development Yard Work Simulator is making the mechanics.
It’s not easy to do the things we do. There’s always going to be bugs. Some
are easy some are hard to patch. It’s frustrating when you hear about someone
with a pretty bad bug, and patching it takes a while. The most fun part of developing
is seeing the end game. After we spend countless hours developing, it’s
nice to see the final product.
VI
Any last statements you would like to make about the game?
If I had to give a last statement I would say I feel like part of the Roblox community
frowns upon simulators but give us a try who know ya might like it!
Developer's questions!
and our tips
Question 1 answered by DBrambo
„ What are some tips you have for people when planning out a build,
and/or doing a build with a team of people? ”
One major thing you’ll need to know about teamwork [is that]. It doesn’t
just always work.” Expect problems in your team, [as] not everyone will agree with you or each
other. This usually causes a delay in development. So if you have a goal that you want to achieve
and need some support, try to make sure that everyone is on the same line first: Get the plan on
the table, and change it together so it fits everyone’s own vision of the project. Want to design a
new vehicle? Make some concept art, send it to your team, let them discuss it, and see the reviews
flowing in. So work on your communication skills, this way it will all go smoothly (unless you
have got a really stubborn lad in your team).
Question 2 answered by Weebo (gomenasaiOniiChan)
„ How much time does an average developer take to learn Lua?”
You never really stop learning, but you will eventually learn how to use the basics of the language
(and API for Roblox) and how they work, me personally it took me a few months to even get
to a point where I could script without constantly looking back on whatever wiki page or YouTube
video I was learning from. The time it takes depends on the person.
Interview with IvanderC4D
ISSUE 4 j ustCreate. 49
We sat down with IvanderC4D for coffee and a small chat to ask him a few questions.
What inspired you to start graphics?
IvanderC4D
Graphic Aritist
I was in a Facebook group when my friend (nanda000) started making amazing graphics. I
tried to ask him of how to do it and he taught me a lot of stuff.
When did you make your first graphic? Who was it for?
I made my first graphic for myself as a test, but my first real commissioned graphic was for
one of my friends in a Facebook group who was interested in my stuff.
What was it like designing for the first time?
It was really hard so I always had to ask my friend, how to that and how to do this.
What do you do when you’re not making graphics?
I play games like such as Roblox, CS:GO, Overwatch, etc.
What software do you use when designing graphics?
When I first started, I used blender for about the first six months then I got frustrated of how
it works and why am I not improving, so I moved to Cinema4D because I have friends who use it
and told me its way easier to use than blender.
How long do you normally spend on one graphic?
I spend up to two days; my quickest render ever only took probably about two
minutes.
Do you only design Roblox themed Graphics?
I only do Roblox graphics if it involves 3D rendering, but I do well when I try other types of
graphics as well.
All in all, how has your experience been ever since you started doing graphics?
I have met a lot of great friends, either whom I met from twitter or through one of my commissioners.
I have felt the feeling of how it feels to be decent at graphics which was my aim when
I first saw my friend’s graphics.
| Falort’s graphic, the best community creation of Issue 4. Congratulations!
Carter0135
Writer
Hello everyone and
today we are going to look at
a graphics design by Falort.
Falort is an incredibly talented
member of the Hidden Developer
community. This design
is fantastic in my opinion, and
I can tell a lot of work was put
into it. I know this may sound
petty, but I love how much detail was
put into the floor of the design. It just
shows how much time was set into
the smallest of areas. The fireballs in
above the character model look fantastic
with the blur effect. Each fireball
has a different fire angle in its way. I
can see Falort being an inspiration to
new graphic designers. The Character

ions
design blends perfectly into the plan, the
simplistic design of where the hands and legs
make it look perfect. The Character model is
only one color yet with the effects it seems
excellent with only one color. The weapons
are dull and unfortunately not blending in
with the blur effects. Before we finish, let’s
look at the background behind this design.
This design was for Falort’s friend who
wanted herself recreated into an anime character.
This explains the fireballs and fighting sticks.
In the end, this is a great article, which fits the
anime art style perfectly. Even though this design
has some downsides, that’s only my opinion, and
to be honest, every design has a disadvantage.
We've also chosen one more community
creation! Check it out on the next page.

| Physx’s graphic “Illustrious” was the best from all 15 submissions we’ve received for the additional comm

unity creation. The color blending and mirrors are just astonishing! Excellent job!

War groups and their RP aspects
from Rome to Coru
war groups and their ro
Nerdking2002
Writer
The appeal of war groups in Roblox.
| “Roman Iberia” is a place
where you can roleplay as a
Barbarian, join the Roman Senate
or be a Spartan.
Why are they so popular? I, myself, enjoy these war
groups more than I enjoy standard Roblox Games from
the front page.
The attraction to most is the Roleplay aspect behind such
groups. An example would be DoomForger’s Imperium of
Man, where you can choose to be a Guardsman and attempt
to work up the ranks, a member of the Law enforcement
Adeptus Arbites, or a legendary Space Marine.
There is a strict hierarchy in such groups, with promotional
systems and organization to allow for a streamlined
system. I will be using DoomForger’s IoM and Marcus-
NervaAugustus’ Senate and the People of Rome as examples.
Going through these groups and spending time
in both gives exceptionally different experiences. In the
IoM, you are a soldier working for the Emperor. What are
known as raids are called against other groups, where
both groups pit their fighters against each other. Most likely
in a Sci-Fi setting.
If you go to Rome, you meet a more Diverse group. You
may join a Legion which has its Hierarchy, each Legion is
running independently with a different organization, and
you can fight for Rome against Barbarians. You can join
one of the two political bodies, and write laws to establish
a better community or run for a political office.
You can join Colleges, such as the Gladiators. Become a
Judge, or work as a Slave.

leplaying aspects
All the groups I have mentioned give that Rare Roleplay aspect that is entirely free and
immersive. These groups test your command ability, your discipline, your combat skills, all you can
develop by spending time in these groups.
They are not just limited to the Warhammer 40’000 universe or Rome. You have Starwar’s
Groups, all Era’s and Factions. World War Army’s with over one-hundred-thousand members. You
can even become a Knight fighting for the Templars.
Such is the appeal of War groups. They are interactive, fun, character building, and I endorse
them heavily.
