for ship propulsion. Engine Services, a division of<br />

<strong>GE</strong>T Aircraft Engines, has operations worldwide<br />

to provide sp<strong>are</strong> parts, engine leasing, engine<br />

overhaul, component repair, accessories services,<br />

and on-wing support.<br />

<strong>GE</strong>’s technology leadership, supported by substantial<br />

investments in research and development, has been the<br />

foundation of its growth. <strong>GE</strong>T Aircraft Engines is investing<br />

almost US$1 billion annually to create new propulsion<br />

systems-from regional jet engines to the world’s most<br />

powerful jet engine-with technologies to enhance airline<br />

profitability and address more-stringent environmental<br />

regulatory requirements.<br />

<strong>GE</strong> and CFM engines power the majority of commercial<br />

and military aircraft in Australia. Our Field Services<br />

representatives provide in-country technical support. <strong>GE</strong>’s<br />
