Blue Ribbon Pork Cook Off award winners<br />

The 21st Annual Martin County Blue Ribbon<br />

Pork Cook Off was held Wednesday, August<br />

15th from 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at the Martin County<br />

Fairgrounds with approximately 400 people in<br />

attendance. Proceeds from this event help support<br />

two annual $4,200 Agri-Business Scholarships for<br />

local students. The judges and the public agreed<br />

on the top entries for just the second time in Blue<br />

Ribbon Pork history with the winning contestants<br />

taking home their respective ribbons in both the<br />

Connoisseur's Choice and People's Choice categories.<br />

Each of our eight contestants gave a valiant<br />

effort, producing creative, mouth-watering porkinspired<br />

dishes, and presenting a formidable challenge<br />

for our judges and participants in selecting<br />

this year’s winning entries.<br />

We want to thank the Martin County Blue<br />

Ribbon Pork Cook Off Committee, all of our volunteers<br />

and the many sponsors who continue to<br />

make this annual event a success. Our <strong>2018</strong> sponsors<br />
