Ashley Justin equalised before a Sanjay Malhi penalty and
a Ty Atkinson goal gave the visitors a 3-1 win.
In the battle of the top two in the Premier Division it was
Tividale’s 100% record that went out of the window as Black
Country Rangers won 2-1 at Packwood Road. Kieron Clarke and
a debut goal from Roland Agbor gave the visitors a 2-0 lead
before a Dan Smith goal for Tividale 10 minutes from time set
up a rousing finish.
Bewdley also fell to their first defeat of the season as they were
well beaten 4-0 at Malvern Town. Adam Sauntson opened the
scoring in the 2nd minute followed by a Josh Hunt hat trick.
Unbelievably despite the fact several clubs have played six
games, Shawbury United have played only two games and are
the only other unbeaten team in the Premier Division.
Neighbours Bilston Town’s dreadful start to the season
continues as they went down 2-1 in the derby against
Wednesfield. They prop up the Division and remain pointless
after six consecutive defeats.
At Hillcrest Avenue tenants Smethwick Rangers came out on top
in a 5 goal thriller against landlords Dudley Sports. In another
Black Country derby Dudley Town continued their fine start to
the season with a 3-0 away win at Cradley Town. Three second
half goals from Jovan Blake (2) and Owen Massey condemning
the home side to their fifth defeat in six games.
A first half hat trick from Tom Harding put Hereford Lads Club in
control against Pershore Town. Kiea Cowley and Ashley Lear
were also on the scoresheet in a 5-2 win. A single Kyle Panniers
goal was enough for Pegasus Juniors to beat wellington in the
Herefordshire derby.
On Tuesday evening Wolves Casuals leap frogged Tividale into
second spot in the Premier Division, a late winner by Alvechurch
loanee Ben Tilbury breaking the hearts of Shifnal Town at
Brinsford Lane.
In the only other game on Tuesday Haughmond made it 3 wins
in four games with a comfortable 6-0 win against newly
promoted Wem Town.
There were no fixtures in Division Two.
