The Governor’s Conference on Economic Development convened<br />
in Kansas City this September with a focus on all the work being done<br />
to enhance <strong>Missouri</strong>’s economy. In his address, Gov. Mike Parson<br />
highlighted the need to do more to improve <strong>Missouri</strong>’s workforce<br />
and invest in our state’s transportation system. The conference<br />
also welcomed Tennessee Gov. Bill Haslam who shared the factors<br />
that led to his state becoming a leader in education, economic<br />
development and government efficiency.<br />
