<strong>Business</strong> and education leaders from across<br />
<strong>Missouri</strong> attended a series of events aimed at<br />
bolstering the state’s economic development<br />
efforts and improving <strong>Missouri</strong>’s workforce.<br />
The events served as a forum for <strong>Missouri</strong>ans<br />
to share their ideas with state leaders.<br />
The Hawthorn Foundation, the <strong>Missouri</strong><br />
Department of Economic Development, the<br />
<strong>Missouri</strong> Department of Higher Education and<br />
the <strong>Missouri</strong> Development Finance Board are<br />
partnering in the effort. State leaders are now<br />
reviewing the suggestions and developing plans<br />
to increase the number of people participating<br />
in <strong>Missouri</strong>’s workforce, increase productivity<br />
and help the state better compete for jobs and<br />
business investment opportunities.<br />
