Here inside was a lifetimes smell, neat objects, clean carpet, plastic<br />
trophies on shiny Formica.<br />
I sat down<br />
A foreign body filtering into the television<br />
Nibbling junk food<br />
Trying not to fart.<br />
On leaving the sky was an awaiting world,<br />
Red and bleak<br />
Peaceful yet cold<br />
And with falling evening, I passed it,<br />
Towards the pub.<br />
