One portable classroom would be installed in the kindergarten area in the southwest part of the campus, while the remaining nine portables would be installed in the central part of the campus on the south part of the existing hardcourt area. The portables would accommodate the increase in student population for two years until a permanent classroom building is constructed. Phase 2 would consist construction of two permanent buildings: a two-story classroom building with eight classrooms and approximately 15,000 square feet of building area, to be built in the north-central part of the campus on the north end of the hardcourt area, and development of a new 2,500 square foot administrative office located on the site of the portables for the elementary school portion. The Point Dume campus is not included on any list under Government Code section 65962.5. Public Review and Comments: The District invites you to comment on the proposed MND. Pursuant to CEQA 6703 Legal Notices Guidelines Section 15082, responsible and trustee agencies and other interested parties, including members of the public, must submit any comments in response to this notice no later than 5:00 p.m. on October 18, 2018. The District's Office and Point Dume Marine Science School are open from the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, excluding holidays. The District will only accept written comments during the aforementioned public review period-please include your name, address, and contact information in your correspondence.
