The Sun Rises in the West (9th edition, 2018) - Farid Gabteni

“Under the cover of an islam that has been distorted by ignorantists, some fanatics, corruptors of the faith, who are at ease with ignominy, commit the worst crimes against God and humanity. By distorting Islâm and all the universal, moral values, they are cultivating discord, hatred of others, violence and sectarianism. Although it is undeniable that these demonic criminals target and threaten civilisation as a whole, Muslims are the first victims of their theories and their nightmarish practices.” (Farid Gabteni) The Sun Rises in the West by Farid Gabteni is published in two volumes: Science for the Hour and Programmed Coincidence. Each of the volumes features a preface by a doctor in history and philosophy of science, the first by Doctor Fouzia Madani and the second by Doctor Ismaël Omarjee. This scientific treatise, extended to all Quranic Readings, is a pathbreaking masterpiece and constitutes a rigorous and irrefutable argument against obscurantism. It restores likewise the original Message of Islam to both Muslims and non-Muslims. Science, conscience, peace and tolerance: these are the Quran’s and of Islam’s form and content, masterly exposed by the author of the book, through an applied and demonstrative study.

<strong>The</strong> number 19 is only mentioned once <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Qurân, <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> verse<br />

30 of chapter 74, "THE COVERED" ‏,(المدّثّر)‏ <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> context of a<br />

count<strong>in</strong>g ( Σ idatuhum, ‏(عدتهم which has a particular and precise<br />

function, described <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> verse 31 of <strong>the</strong> same chapter.<br />

"On it n<strong>in</strong>eteen 30 And We have not Made <strong>the</strong> companions of <strong>the</strong><br />

fire except angels (possessors); and We have Made <strong>the</strong>ir count<strong>in</strong>g<br />

only as a subversion for those who denigrated – <strong>in</strong> order ‏(عد تهم)‏<br />

that those to whom <strong>the</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g (book) was Reported may arrive at<br />

certa<strong>in</strong>ty and those who assured (believed) may <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>in</strong><br />

assurance (faith, belief) and that those to whom <strong>the</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g<br />

(book) was Reported and <strong>the</strong> assurers (believers) may not<br />

hesitate; and that those <strong>in</strong> whose hearts is a disease and <strong>the</strong><br />

denigrators may say: ‘What did God Mean by this example?’<br />

Thus, God Leads astray whom He Wills and Guides whom He<br />

Wills; and none Knows <strong>the</strong> Militants of Your Master except Him;<br />

and this is no o<strong>the</strong>r than a rememoration for <strong>the</strong> person 31"<br />

On <strong>the</strong> read<strong>in</strong>g of <strong>the</strong> verses 30 and 31 of chapter 74, it is at first<br />

difficult to imag<strong>in</strong>e how a count<strong>in</strong>g might <strong>in</strong>crease <strong>the</strong> rebellion of<br />

some whereas it enhances <strong>the</strong> faith of o<strong>the</strong>rs. Unless this count<strong>in</strong>g<br />

is a key, which would enable "those to whom <strong>the</strong> writ<strong>in</strong>g (book)<br />

was Reported" 1 ( ‏(الذين to discover facts that have<br />

rema<strong>in</strong>ed concealed up to now. This is exactly what I hope to<br />

elucidate <strong>in</strong> this study.<br />

<strong>The</strong> comparison of <strong>the</strong> way of draw<strong>in</strong>g digits <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> Arabic 2 script<br />

and <strong>the</strong> Lat<strong>in</strong> 3 script, which is <strong>in</strong>ternationally used, highlights <strong>the</strong><br />

fact that only two digits are spelled nearly <strong>in</strong> <strong>the</strong> same way, <strong>the</strong> 1<br />

and <strong>the</strong> 9:<br />

1 In chapter 74, verse 31.<br />
