Letaka Safaris is a citizen-owned mobile safari company specialising in mid-range fully serviced,<br />
all inclusive comfort camping and has been operating in Botswana since 2000. Letaka Safaris<br />
offers both exclusively private, tailor-made safaris for individuals, groups and families (no age<br />
restriction on private departures) as well as scheduled itineraries and photographic safaris<br />
which we operate throughout the year. We are also the only company in Botswana who offer<br />
scheduled birding departures in Botswana and surrounding countries.<br />
Our guides are some of the highest qualified and best trained in the business due to our<br />
association with our sister company, The Okavango Guiding School, a training facility which we<br />
created to elevate the standard of guiding in Botswana. Many of Botswana’s top guides pass<br />
through the Okavango Guiding School’s doors at one time or another and we are proud to<br />
continue this initiative to create a guiding fraternity that will stand head and shoulders above<br />
other African destinations.<br />
Letaka Safaris was honoured to receive various awards for 2015 including Best Mobile Safari<br />
Operator in Africa and Best Guiding Team in Botswana voted for by previous guests and our<br />
