A big part of what we do is provide
inspiration by running events around
the UK to launch STEAM Co.
REGIONAL LAUNCHES
These events may be run over
one or two days where children and
their teachers and parents from
local schools get the chance to try a
STEAM Co. Day run by local creatives.
We also hold a series of short talks
which are filmed for use at other
briefing events.
#ARTCONNECTS
We held our first annual national
three day event in Kings Cross - the
#ARTCONNECTS Festival of Creative
Schools, Work and Lives.
The Friday saw hundreds of local
primary children come in for a STEAM
Co. Day sponsored by the Creative
Agency Havas. A range of fantastic
creative activites were on offer.
On the Friday evening we held a
screening of ‘Most Likely To Succeed’
at the British Library.
The most inspiring line up of
speakers - teachers, parents,
creatives, business people took to
the stage on the Saturday.
We heard from primary and
secondary schools that value
creativity, how important creativity is
to the economy and the threat of A.I
and robots.
