Notices A WARM WELCOME to the Abbeydale Singers from Sheffield who are singing at all three of our services today. ALL SOULS SERVICE will be held on Sunday 4 th November at 6.30 pm when we shall be remembering departed loved ones and friends by name in prayer. If you would like us to remember any members of your family and friends in our prayers, please add their names to the sheet at the back of church. REMEMBRANCE: Do you have anything that comes from WWI? If so, please do speak with me so that we can add it to our collection of memorabilia (so far we have medals, postcards, diaries and a Communion set used in the trenches) that will be on display for the evening service on Sun 11 Nov. RNIB are running a series of wellbeing workshops at Stillhouse Lane, Bedminster . Sessions will include Coping with Anxiety and Understanding Yourself. THEOLOGY BOOK CLUB Canon John Rogan will host a new discussion group starting on Tuesday evenings at 8pm. For more information e-mail Simon Goodman at simon.goodman61@btinternet.com or call him on 07811 14149 MARY’S MEALS’ BACKPACK APPEAL - Thank you to everyone for their contributions.To date we have received £174, and have so far bought 70 backpacks. We are still collecting items to go in the backpacks (especially toiletries and stationery) should anyone else wish to make a donation. REDCLIFFE REMEMBERS CONCERT Sat 10 Nov 3.00-4.15pm with music sung by our choirs of girls, boys and adults, with solo guest violinist Petronella Dittmer. All the music has a remembrance theme. Tea and cake afterwards. Tickets £5 on the door. REDCLIFFE REMEMBERS EXHIBITION about the sixteen choirmen who lost their lives in WW1 will be on display in the North Transept from next weekend. THE SISTER OF THE CHURCH have written to thank everyone for the Harvest Gifts which have been very welcome.
