FROM THE PASTOR<br />
It is coming <strong>November</strong> 18 th …<br />
Dear Church Family,<br />
Sunday, <strong>November</strong> 18, is our congregation’s Consecration Sunday.<br />
We have planned to celebrate Consecration Sunday on the Sunday before Thanksgiving Day, and that is no<br />
accident This is a great time to take stock of all that God has given us, all the people, the experiences, the<br />
days, and the blessings He has shared with us, and to consider how the practice of generosity helps us to<br />
grow more and more like our generous Lord and Savior.<br />
I urge you to plan now to attend the two important events: Sunday morning worship and the Celebration<br />
Luncheon immediately following worship at noon that same day.<br />
This spiritual-growth-oriented process is designed to enrich our biblical understanding of Christian<br />
stewardship. Rather than focusing on the need of the church to receive, the experience concentrates on the<br />
need of the giver to give for his or her own spiritual growth. In giving we become more like him who gave<br />
himself up for us all<br />
I trust that you are concerned enough to attend on Consecration Sunday and make your financial<br />
commitment, turning in your commitment card as an act of worship in the church sanctuary. After worship<br />
we will celebrate with a meal and fellowship together, for God has been good to us indeed.<br />
You should be receiving an RSVP card for the luncheon on the 18th as well as a pledge card. Please be<br />
sure to let us know we can count on you.<br />

their time and talent each Sunday so that we can sing praise to our Lord.<br />

A special thank you to each member of our church family for the support you give to the<br />
church and your fellow members. The love and kindness shared in this church is humbling.<br />

Thanks to Rev. Daniel, Christene and Elizabeth for sharing your lives with us here at St.<br />
Francisville UMC. We are grateful to have each of you.<br />

SFUMC is a prayer partner for The Upper Room Prayer. Prayer calls are taken<br />
once a month on a Wednesday evening from 5:00 pm until 7:00 pm in the<br />
church office. If you feel you would like to become a part of this important<br />
ministry and volunteer to answer calls, please contact the church office.<br />

month for a highenergy,<br />
fun night of<br />
food, games, crafts,<br />
and learning to love<br />
and trust the Lord.<br />
CHILDREN’s CHURCH<br />
Children’s Church will be available to any<br />
child on Sunday mornings during each of the<br />
worship services. Following a Children’s<br />
Moment in the Sanctuary, children will be led to<br />
the CHASE building where they will stay for the<br />
remainder of the service. Toddlers will play and<br />
sing, and grade-school children will hear a scriptural<br />
message designed especially for their understanding<br />
that will mirror Rev. Daniels message.<br />

SUNDAY SCHOOOL<br />
Grade school children will meet in the Children’s<br />
Ministry room in the Fellowship Hall each<br />
Sunday 9:45-10:40 for Sunday School. Our<br />
wonderful rotation of teachers will continue<br />
teaching this fall, and lessons will be structured<br />
to teach children the scripture lessons that they<br />
will also hear in Worship/Children’s Church.<br />
There will also be a time designated each Sunday<br />
for our “Bible Line,” where kids will become<br />
more familiar with the Bible and how it can<br />
serve as a tool for their everyday lives.<br />
