For you have been called to live in freedom.
Galatians 5:13

From the Pastor
Dear Church family,
Need Communion at Home?
Holy Communion, also known as The Lord's Supper or Holy Eucharist, is one of the principle ways that
believers draw near to God and connect with the presence of Christ in a mysterious way. In it we re-affirm
the covenant that was sealed in our baptism.
Like the manna, the mysterious bread, that fed the Israelites and sustained them for 40 years in the
wilderness, so Jesus Christ uses the bread and wine of Holy Communion to sustain the people of his church,
and share his presence, and the life-changing power of his body and blood with us.
Bringing communion to the homes of Church members is one of the ministries that the Church has offered
from very early days. Those who are sick, hospitalized, or home-bound; those nearing death, or preparing
for a long journey; those blessing a new home, or anyone who for whatever reason would like to receive
this Sacrament of Jesus Christ, are encouraged to contact the church office to arrange a time for me to bring
the Lord's Supper to you. This is not an inconvenience, but a joy and a ministry that pastors and church
leaders have been doing for almost 2000 years.
Whether at church on Sunday, or some other time, I hope to break bread with you soon.
May the Lord Jesus Christ bless and keep you+
-Rev. Daniel
So Christ himself gave the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, the pastors
and teachers, to equip his people for works of service, so that the body of
Christ may be built up. Ephesians 4:11-12
