Sign Layout
The graphic content for beach signage has
been designed using standard symbols for easy
recognition and uniformity.
Consideration should be given to the order in
which information is presented on signs. The
recommended hierarchical layout is:
a) location identification
b) general warning
c) hazards & warnings
d) information
e) regulations
All beach access signage can be modified &
personalised to suit individual beach regulations,
hazards & information.
Please note that road signage standards may exist
in each state. Please refer to your relevant road
authority for information.
