The Halloween game remains strong in the southwest suburbs
Publisher 22nd Century Media
announces contest winners
Bill Jones, Managing Editor
Once again, Publisher 22nd Century
Media’s Southwest Chicago readers impressed
our editors with their Halloween
game.
From creative costumes to intricate pumpkin
designs, entrants did a good job of making
our job of picking winners difficult in our
annual costume and carving contests. But
winners we picked nonetheless. And we’re
happy to present them in the accompanying
photo spread.
We picked our winners based on creativity,
successful execution of an idea, quality
of craftsmanship and consideration of the
holiday/season.
The staff would like to thank everyone
who took the time to share their Halloween
fun with us, to all of those who continue
to read our newspapers weekly, and to the
generous local businesses that provided our
prizes.
