Like the grains of sand on our beach, no two Watsons Weddings are completely
alike. Celebrations might be petite and intimate, large and lavish, dreamy,
adventurous, classic, edgy, witty. We can layer on the luxe, or keep it sweet and
simple. From barefoot to black tie, dawn to dusk, indoors to open-air, your
choice is unlimited.

Whether you’re with us for an afternoon, a day,
a weekend or more (honeymoons happily start
here, too) you’ll find our little beachside world
filled with choices and ideas. Arrive by sea or
land, exchange vows indoors or out. Wake to a
golden sunrise on your wedding morning; stroll
hand-in-hand on the sand; dance under the stars,
kiss beneath the spreading boughs of a lovely old
Moreton Bay fig. Then relive it all next day over a
decadent wedding brunch.
Weekends are vibrant and buzzy, but weekdays
have their own special magic. In those quieter
times, it can feel as if the sand, sea and secret
places are yours alone.
Our two unique event spaces, The Sunset
Room and Top Deck, are beautiful without
embellishment, so you can enjoy them exactly
as they are. But they’re also inspiring canvasses
ready for you to dress, decorate and fill with your
story. Watsons is helpfully chameleon-like; our
buildings and their surroundings can channel an
array of coastal vibes - from Montauk to Miami to
Mustique. Your photographer will love you for the
wealth of wow-factor picture opportunities never
further than a stroll away.
While you two soar on the wings of love, there’s
a dedicated ground crew at work. Our gifted
team of wedding whisperers are foodies, design
lovers, style gurus, connected insiders, and- most
importantly – incurable romantics one and all.

And then there’s our secret wedding weapon: those legendary
Watsons Bay sunsets. Thanks to our rare location with views
right down the barrel of Sydney Harbour, the big star likes to say
goodnight with a stunning display across the city skyline, bathing
the entire harbour in all the shades of a pastel paint box. It’s the
greatest show in town, it’s free and it’s deeply romantic.
Whatever the time of day, every Watsons wedding is a coproduction
with nature, featuring gleaming water vistas, mellow sands and
native green. And against that enchanting backdrop, our party
genies wield all the manmade tech and tricks to power celebrations
