BRENDA MILLER
Brenda Miller, twenty-one, has worked at P. Graham
Dunn for five and a half years. Five of those years
she worked in the paint department, silk screening
and assembling prototypes in preparation for
production. It was her diligence in those areas
that earned her a promotion to work immediately
under the plant manager Robert Shetler where she
assisted in the management of our new Microsoft AX
installation. Robert commented recently that he
trusted Brenda and her associate Gina Weaver more
than he did the software.
Harold Kennedy, twenty-one, has been with P. Graham
Dunn for one year. He started off in the milling
department learning how to operate our CNC machines.
A position opened up for a day-shift supervisory and
Harold was handed the job. He meets every morning with
Robert, Joe, and Peter as they do their daily rounds.
His favorite part about the job is that “I meet someone
new almost every day. I love the high expectations and
all of the knowledge I’ve gained because of it.” In his
spare time Harold enjoys hunting and fishing. He also
added, “I spend an absurd amount of time listening
to music. I love to play poker, and I’m pretty good, if
I do say so myself.” Harold can solve a Rubik’s Cube
in two to three minutes. He can also split a playing
card in half with one shot. He’s a published poet, and
everyone at the shop agrees he’s a blast to work with.
Her favorite part about working at P. Graham Dunn
is, “The people, without a doubt. Everyone here is
super friendly and easy to work with.” Outside of
work, she enjoys spending time with friends, her
family, and her boyfriend Gary. Brenda also enjoys
DIY projects. Some of the skills she developed in
our shop she is now using with Gary; together they
have built and finished a coffee table and end
tables. Brenda lives just north of Mt. Hope and
has four brothers, one sister, two nephews, and a
niece.
